Starter Shane Mobley shut out the San Diego Aztecs despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Hollywood Stars cruised to victory, 4-0. Mobley allowed only 5 hits and rang up 9 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win.
