Stars Pitching Ravaged by Lightfoot Saturday, July 17th , 2027 It was a parade of hits for Joe Lightfoot of the San Diego Aztecs at Stars Park. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Lightfoot finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Aztecs to a win, 18-3. "Lightfoot was really good and we were really bad," groaned Stars manager Mike McClurkin. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Joe Lightfoot singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, walked in a run in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
