Christopher Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Friday, July 2nd , 2027 Calvin Christopher has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Houston center fielder picked up 2 more today against the Arlington Stars and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Apollos won the game, 6-4. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Calvin Christopher singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th and doubled in the 7th. This year, Christopher is batting .314 with 7 home runs. He has scored 25 runs and driven in 26. |
