Battalion Casey Scheihing Will Miss Season Sunday, June 13th , 2027 The season is apparently over for Casey Scheihing. The Boston Battalion medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 4-5 months with shoulder inflammation. Scheihing was hurt in the game against Manhattan while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. His stats sheet for the year shows Scheihing has managed to hold opponents to a .292 average in 17 relief appearances, while putting up 2-2 record with 27 strikeouts and 17 walks in 41 innings. He has a 3.29 ERA with 1 save. |
