Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Eaker Sunday, September 20th , 2026
The Oil City Oilers got more than they expected out of Pete Eaker in 2026.
At the age of 35, there were questions about whether or not Eaker could still compete at a high level, but those questions were answered emphatically as he has won the Eastern Amateur Circuit Reliever of the Year Award.
On the season, the Hanford, California native recorded 6 saves in 40 relief appearances and threw 56.1 innings. He recorded 60 strikeouts and 33 walks, while posting an opponent's batting average of .220.
