Hits Galore: Santiago Drills 5 Hits Monday, August 23rd , 2027 It was a big day for Joaquin Santiago and he brought the Winnipeg Buffaloes along for the ride. Santiago led his club to victory, 11-1, over the Green Bay Braves at Goldeyes Park, smoking Green Bay pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 27-year-old left fielder later called the victory "sweet." Joaquin Santiago singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Raul Banuelos in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Marco Vega in the 8th.
