July's Top Starter Named in WSPC Sunday, August 1st , 2027 In July, when the name of Manny Molina appeared on the Mexico City lineup card it was a virtual lock on a victory. He started 5 times and chalked up 4 wins and no losses. With those stats it was also a virtual lock that he would be named the Western Semi-Pro Circuit Pitcher of the Month. Molina shackled opposing batters on 27 base hits and a .216 batting average. He rang up 30 strikeouts in 33.1 innings of work, surrendered 13 walks and fashioned a sparkling 2.16 ERA. So far this season, Molina has a 6-3 record, 19 starts, 114.2 innings, 106 strikeouts and a 3.61 ERA. |
