1000th Hit for Stewart Sunday, July 18th , 2027 It was a banner day for Preston Stewart, who collected his 1000th hit in the Sherbrooke 6-1 win over Allentown. Stewart went 1-for-3 in the game as both Canadians and Fleetwings fans cheered Stewart when he reached base after his hit. "It feels great to get #1000," Stewart said afterward, "especially since we won the game." Stewart has put up a career batting average of .290 with 1000 hits, 119 homers and 511 RBIs. View Boxscore |
