Rollers Pilot Block Picked as WSPC's Best Saturday, November 6th , 2027 A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Pete Block, he seems to have taken the Las Vegas Rollers to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the Western Semi-Pro Circuit for leading the team to a very rewarding season. "Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way." Block led Las Vegas to a first place finish in the Western Semi-Pro Circuit. The Rollers ended up with a 101-61 record. |
