Bullock Captures 2027 Rookie of the Year Award Friday, November 5th , 2027 Jason Bullock, the rookie left fielder for the Sherbrooke Canadians, assured himself of a place in Eastern Semi-Pro Circuit history with a solid performance in the 2027 season. He now has a place reserved for him in the league record book under "Rookie of the Year." The 30-year-old Sherbrooke newcomer took the trophy by hitting .290 in 143 games this season and finished with 165 hits, 12 home runs, 52 RBIs and 83 runs scored. He received 15 first place votes out of a possible 20. Salvador Olvera of the Hamilton Tigers finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Bill Tulk of the Hamilton Tigers finished third.
