No Late-Season Magic Coming: Denver Out of Playoffs Friday, September 24th , 2027 The Denver Cutthroats were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Chris Elliott of the Cutthroats said it's a tough way to finish out the season. "To be eliminated from playoff contention in the last few games, it's not easy," he said. The Cutthroats have made the playoffs 8 times in their 28 years as a Professional Baseball Circuit franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2025. In the last 10 seasons, the Cutthroats have missed the playoffs 8 times.
