Atlanta Eliminated from Playoff Contention Friday, September 17th , 2027 While they stayed relevant until late in the season, a playoff berth wasn't meant to be this season for the Atlanta Pilots. The club was eliminated from playoff contention today. "Even though we knew where things stood, it's a disappointment," Pilots manager Alex Sexton said. Atlanta last appeared in the postseason in 2024. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 20 times in their 28-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Pilots have made the playoffs 5 times. |
