Houston Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Monday, September 13th , 2027 While they stayed relevant late into the season, there will be no postseason berth for the Houston Mavericks. The club today was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. The Mavericks have missed the playoffs 16 times in their 28 years as a Professional Baseball Circuit franchise.
