Year Over for Thunder Alvarez Friday, August 20th , 2027 Ricardo Alvarez will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Tampa Bay reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Alvarez was injured while throwing a pitch in the Thunder-Warriors clash at The Thunder Bowl recently. Doctors said he has bone chips in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 4-5 months. This season, Alvarez has earned 0 saves, tossed 29.1 innings, made 14 relief appearances, fanned 20 hitters and posted an ERA of 7.36. Teams are hitting .331 against him. |
