WC Awards Best Batter Prize to Im Monday, August 2nd , 2027 Minnesota Loons catcher Jung-won Im rose above the controversy surrounding his soon-to-expire contract, thriving under pressure last week and copping the Player of the Week award in the Western Circuit. Im put up a .500 batting average (7-for-14) with 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 7 times. For the season, Im has produced 57 hits in 189 at-bats for a .302 average with 5 home runs and gotten on base at a .379 clip. |
