El Paso, Arizona Deal Made Monday, December 20th , 2027 A trade was announced today at a press conference in El Paso. Not satisfied with their current roster, the El Paso Diablos general manager shook things up by acquiring 31-year old C Gabe Espinoza from the Arizona Suns for 23-year old minor league CF Jonathan Brambila, 23-year old minor league RHP Scott Steiner Jr., 20-year old minor league C Jason Ryder, and 33-year old C Robert DeRosa. "We're a better team now," Diablos general manager Joe Peters said. "We've added several pieces to the puzzle." Arizona will retain a portion of Espinoza's remaining contract. In his career, Espinoza has played in 575 games with a .281 batting average. Among his 578 hits are 128 doubles, no triples and 87 home runs. He has also scored 332 runs and driven in 351 runs. |
