Gothams Ink $650,000 Annual Deal with Brooks Friday, December 3rd , 2027 Sportswriters, fans and team officials watched today as 34-year-old reliever Quincy Brooks committed to a $1,300,000, 2-year deal with the New York City organization. Some openly worry that despite his talent, Brooks is too old to get it done anymore and that his value to the club will sharply diminish before the 2-year agreement has run its course. Brooks has appeared in 349 games in his career, tossing 522.2 innings with 682 strikeouts. He has rung up a 43-46 record and a 3.08 ERA and has been credited with 99 saves. |
