Ruben Hernandez Chosen WC's Best Player Wednesday, November 10th , 2027 2027 was a fine year for Las Vegas catcher Ruben Hernandez and it was topped off today with the announcement that he is the winner of the Western Circuit Most Valuable Position Player Award. Hernandez starred this season with a .385 batting average, 115 hits, 16 home runs, 55 RBIs, .450 OBP and 57 runs scored. He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 24. Sergio Serrano of the Los Angeles Knights finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Chris Elliott of the Denver Cutthroats finished third.
