Keystones Earn 9-4 Home Win

The Philadelphia Keystones welcomed the Chicago Union to an night game at Keystones Stadium.
In the 9-4 Philadelphia win over Chicago, the impact of Vince Ricci was substantial. Ricci, who is tied for 4th in the EC in stolen bases with 44, was 4 for 5 with a triple and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Ki-tae Jung went 6.2 innings, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits. The right-hander, who is tied for 7th in the EC with a 9.8 K/9 rate, struck out 9 and walked 0. With the win, he's now 7-8 this season. Picking up the save was Justin Simpson. He's now 3 for 6 in save chances.
In the bottom of the third, Philadelphia first baseman Nate Johnson had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Johnson stroked a 2-run single to left. It made the score 5-2, Philadelphia. For the game, he went 1-4, while adding 2 RBI.
"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Ricci.
With the win, Philadelphia upped its record to 46-40.
