The San Diego Roadrunners defeated the Vancouver Grizzlies, 9-3. Right Fielder Adrian Gentile deserved a large share of the credit. Gentile went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Roadrunners. Jim Parker got the save, his 4th in 4 chances. The defeat makes Vancouver 26-54.

With San Diego leading 3-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Gentile hit a changeup from Danny Torres for a 2-run double. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Roadrunners ahead, 5-0.

"I really like what we did out there today," Gentile said after the game.
