The Detroit Motors knocked off the Boston Shamrocks, 5-3, in Eastern Circuit action at The Motor Yard. Detroit pitcher and Montreal, Canada, native Jeff Paull had an outstanding performance. Paull, now 2-5, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. The victory puts Detroit at 22-38.

In the bottom of the third, Cesar Cerros delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 2nd, the Detroit third baseman hit a run-scoring single, putting the Motors in front, 5-3.
