Both teams had their chances, but the Detroit Motors eventually prevailed.

The Detroit Motors had to overcome a good performance from Boston pitcher Paul Reid to claim a 3-2 win at The Motor Yard. Reid went 8 innings and allowed 3 runs. Felix Fernandez, the winning pitcher, is now 3-9. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits, while fanning 6 and walking 5. Jaiden LeFlore wrapped it up, recording his 6th save.

Huibert Zwiers had a big run-scoring double for the Motors in the bottom of the third inning. With Detroit leading 2-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a curveball from Paul Reid and swatted a double to right. It was his 17th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Motors ahead, 3-0.

"Just trying to help my team," said Zwiers. "That's all I want."
