Williams 4-for-5, Cutthroats Move to 2-0
The Denver Cutthroats put together a convincing win at Cutter's Cove, defeating the Vancouver Grizzlies, 11-2. Jayden Williams was one of the hitting stars. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Denver. Mike Ryals earned the win. Ivan Palafox, who finished 5th in the WC in wins with 12 in 2024, took the loss for Vancouver. The Cutthroats, now 2-0, have been playing some good baseball.

With Denver trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Williams hit a sinker from Ivan Palafox for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Cutthroats ahead, 2-1.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Denver manager Tyler Montgomery.
