Great Effort by Loons 1B Youngsma Not Enough in 12-11 Loss
The Vancouver Grizzlies outlasted Jason Youngsma and the Minnesota Loons, 12-11. Youngsma was impressive in the loss. The Minnesota left fielder belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The Loons, now 6-10, have been consistent this season. Consistently bad.

In the bottom of the sixth, Danny Camarena delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the Vancouver second baseman hit a 2-run single, putting the Grizzlies in front, 12-11.

"Nice to get this one," said Camarena. "Wins have been hard to come by."
