Jordan Ortiz did a number on the Empires in the 7-4 Mexico City (R) victory -- and the number was 5. The Aztecas second baseman banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at PBC Rookie Development Complex to lead his club past the Southern Cal (R) Empires.

"I felt good in the batter's box," he said. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done."

Jordan Ortiz singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
