With right fielder Eric Eriksen leading the charge, the Boston Shamrocks defeated the Miami Sun Sox, 16-3, at Sun Sox Stadium. Eriksen, who finished 2nd in the WC in home runs with 19 in 2025, was 3-4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and 3 walks, while scoring 4 times and driving in 4. Paul Reid, the winning pitcher, is now 2-1. He went 6.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits, while fanning 8 and walking 5. The Sun Sox drop to 3-7 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2027 season.

Boston won the game in part because of Nick Torzewski. The shortstop ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Shamrocks ahead, 4-0. For the game, Torzewski had 2 doubles and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
