Loons Move on to Championship Cup Saturday, October 3rd , 2026 The Minnesota (R) Loons are on to the Championship Cup after a convincing series win over the Seattle (R) Gulls. Minnesota (R) wrapped up the series sweep with a 4-3 win in the last game, to take the series 4-0. "We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Javier Rodriguez, who was named series MVP. For the series, Rodriguez hit .529 with a .556 on-base percentage.
