Atlanta (R)'s Castillo Injured, Out of Lineup Sunday, September 27th , 2026 Watching Alex Castillo getting helped off the field today at PBC Rookie Development Complex, fans of the Atlanta (R) Pilots feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the starting pitcher will miss 13 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Castillo suffered the injury throwing a pitch in the game against the Union. This year, Castillo has a 3-4 record and a 2.73 ERA. |
