Miami (R)'s Atwell Out 6 Months Sunday, September 27th , 2026 The season is ending on a bad note for Mike Atwell, third baseman for the Miami (R) Sun Sox. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Atwell was hurt against the St. Louis (R) Lions while colliding with a player at a base. He suffered a torn labrum and will be out for at least 6 months. So far this season, Atwell is batting .264 with 6 home runs. |
