Thompson Sizzles -- Smokes Titans for 6 Hits Sunday, September 20th , 2026 Washington (R) catcher Joe Thompson had a big day at PBC Rookie Development Complex against the Toronto (R) Titans. The 19-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 6-for-6 and led to the 12-9 Warriors triumph over Toronto (R). "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Thompson said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Joe Thompson singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
