Houston (R) Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Friday, September 18th , 2026 The Houston (R) Mavericks may still need a piece or two before becoming championship material in PBC Rookie Complex League. The team has fallen short of its playoff goals this year, being officially eliminated from the playoffs today. "I feel like we have a great group," Mavericks manager Caleb Craley said. "We happened to come up short or our goal, though. We'll re-tool and be back stronger next season." This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2024. In total, the Mavericks have missed the playoffs 13 times in their 19-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Mavericks have made the playoffs 6 times. Houston (R) last won the Championship Cup in 2024. |
