El Paso (R) Starting Pitcher Out Saturday, August 1st , 2026 Jeremy Thiessen of the El Paso (R) Diablos was injured in today's game against Denver (R) and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a torn back muscle, and he is expected to be out for up to 4 months. It happened while Thiessen was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." For the season, Thiessen has logged no wins and 2 losses and struck out 20 batters in 17 innings while compiling a 3.71 ERA. |
