Willie Preciado Hurt, Out for Year Saturday, June 27th , 2026 The season is finished for Willie Preciado of the Tampa Bay (R) Thunder. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Thunder starting pitcher suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Chicago (R) Union. Team doctors said it would take at least 14 months to heal. In 10 starts this season, Preciado has compiled a 2-3 record and a 5.40 ERA. |
