Best RCLE Reliever Named Saturday, October 24th , 2026 At the young age of only 19, Blake Payton has been named the RCL East Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2026. The future appears bright for the Boston (R) Shamrocks relief ace, who captured the award with 17 saves in 48 relief appearances, 90 strikeouts in 72.1 innings and a record of 4-5 to go with his 2.36 ERA. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Josh Smelser of the St. Louis (R) Lions finished second in voting, while Warren Vantassell of the Tampa Bay (R) Thunder finished third.
