WAC Hands Out Reliever of the Year Award Sunday, September 20th , 2026 Hollywood Stars reliever Freddie Jorgensen said he loves to come into the game when the outcome is in jeopardy. He certainly did a good job of impacting his team's outcomes this season, as he has been named the winner of the 2026 Reliever of the Year Award for the Western Amateur Circuit. "There's no better feeling than running in from the bullpen with the game on the line and your heart pumping," Jorgensen said. On the season, the Agawam, Massachusetts native had 3 saves in 43 relief appearances, 54 strikeouts in 54.1 innings and a record of 8 wins and 2 losses to go with his 2.65 ERA. He received 18 first place votes out of a possible 20. Kobbe Hoogenkamp of the Houston Apollos finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Scott Jacques of the Tulsa Twisters finished third.
