It's Over! Yuma Defeats Long Beach Wednesday, September 9th , 2026 The Yuma faithful were cheering in the streets, and Long Beach fans wiping away the tears, after the Gnomes won the Amateur Circut Cup at Yuma Grounds today. The Gnomes clinched it by knocking off the Titans 4-2 to take their 3rd Amateur Baseball Circuit crown. Yuma took the series 4-1. "This club never gave up all year long," Yuma manager Alex Cosme told the press. "They believed they could win the title and they did." On the way to the Amateur Circut Cup title, Yuma compiled a 87-57 won-loss record and finished first in the Western Amateur Circuit. "We just didn't play well enough to win," Titans manager Seth Mansfield said. "We just didn't make the big plays like they did." View Boxscore |
