Yuma's Gonzalez to Miss 8 Months Saturday, September 5th , 2026 Jose Gonzalez of the Yuma Gnomes was injured in today's game against Long Beach and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a torn labrum, and he is expected to be out for up to 8 months. It happened while Gonzalez was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." To date Gonzalez is 14-2 in 21 starts with a 2.71 ERA and has 120 strikeouts in 129.1 innings. |
