Monarchs Come up Short of Playoffs Tuesday, September 1st , 2026 Brent Hemphill, manager for the Manchester Monarchs said it's a "dark day" for his club. The reason? The Monarchs were officially eliminated from playoff contention earlier today. Manchester last appeared in the postseason in 2021. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 19 times in their 24-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Monarchs have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
