Tulsa-Arlington Brawl, Colon and Pombo Suspended Wednesday, July 29th , 2026 After an intense confrontation, both the Twisters Santiago Colon and the Stars Carlitos Pombo were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Tulsa-Arlington game. Santiago Colon will miss 5 games, while Carlitos Pombo was suspended for 3 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Santiago Colon commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." This season, Colon is batting .240 with 7 home runs. He has scored 38 runs and driven in 23.
