Pitcher of the Month Named in WAC Monday, June 1st , 2026 In May when the Dallas manager wrote the name "Cosme" on the lineup card, he knew he had a good shot at winning. Start after start in the month, Hector Cosme took the hill, took charge and usually got the win. He dominated with a 3-0 mark and 1.69 ERA in 5 starts. The gifted Bulls star pitched 32 innings, fanned 33 and held opposing teams to a .205 average. For his outstanding mound performance Cosme was named the WAC Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. This season, Cosme has worked 70 innings with 65 strikeouts en route to a 4-5 record and a 2.57 ERA. |
