You're Out! Apollos Fire Manager Glaser Thursday, October 22nd , 2026 You can't fire the players when times get tough. Josh Glaser learned that the hard way today as he was dismissed from his managerial position with the Houston Apollos. Citing a need to "shake things up," a team official said it was time to move on. "We respect what Josh has done for the club and we thank him for his time here, but we just think the future of the Apollos needs to be handled by someone else and needs to move in a different direction," said club general manager in a prepared statement. For his part, Glaser remained upbeat about the decision. "I know it's a business and sometimes you've just got to make a change," he said. "I want to thank Houston for the opportunity to manage here." Team officials are expected to announce an interim manager in the next few days. |
