San Francisco Takes Play-in Series in Deciding Game Wednesday, October 7th , 2026 Professional Baseball Circuit pundits who figured the Play-in Series between the San Francisco Peanuts and Las Vegas Aces would go the distance were right on the mark. The two teams battled back and forth in a spirited series, with San Francisco coming out on top thanks to a 9-3 win in the deciding game at Garibaldi's Grounds, to wrap things up 4-3. "You get to the last game and anything can happen, so we're overjoyed to come out on top," said Peanuts right fielder Oscar de la Cruz, who was named series MVP.
