Playoffs Won't Happen for Thunder Monday, September 28th , 2026 The Tampa Bay Thunder players and coaches held a closed-door meeting today after the club was eliminated from postseason contention. "We just wanted to talk about the season and where we are right now and how we get to our ultimate goal," said a dejected Jay Clanton. "We don't want to have this feeling next season." Tampa Bay last appeared in the postseason in 2012. This is their 14th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 19 times in their 27-year history. Tampa Bay has won the Pro Circuit Cup 2 times in their history. |
