Elliott Picked Best Player Monday, September 21st , 2026 Denver fans have something to crow about today as Denver left fielder Chris Elliott nabbed the Western Circuit Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Elliott. He posted a .588 average (10-for-17) this past week with 2 home runs, 6 RBIs, and 7 runs scored. For the season, Elliott is hitting at a .316 clip with 22 home runs, 81 RBIs and has scored 68 runs. He has 100 hits, 58 walks and a .423 on-base percentage. |
