The Math Says - Detroit Out of Playoffs Saturday, September 12th , 2026 Even the most die-hard fans of the Detroit Motors will likely now start focusing on next year. The team was today mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. "We're disappointed," said Motors closer Jaiden LeFlore. "Not just for ourselves, but also for the fans that stick with us every year." Detroit last appeared in the postseason in 2024. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 16 times in their 21-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Motors have made the playoffs 5 times. |
