Echevarria Clobbers 3 HR Against Sun Sox Friday, September 11th , 2026 Jose Echevarria was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 16-2 Toronto Titans triumph at Sun Sox Stadium. The 22-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Titans past the Miami Sun Sox. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Echevarria told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The right fielder went 3-for-6, rung up 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Jose Echevarria struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Bob Schwartz in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Isaiah Johnson in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Armando Aguilar in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. For the season, Echevarria is hitting .307, batted in 53 runs with 15 home runs and 36 runs scored. |
