Jorge Alvarado Triumphs in EC Rookie Vote Saturday, August 1st , 2026 When it came to hitting the baseball, Jorge Alvarado had few peers in the Eastern Circuit last month. The gifted second baseman for Washington tagged opposing pitchers for a .361 average and was voted the Rookie of the Month for July. Included in his stats were 22 hits, 5 homers, 12 runs scored and 13 RBIs. So far this year, Alvarado is batting .244 with 8 home runs. |
