Baker Too Tough, Blanks Detroit Sunday, July 5th , 2026 Joe Baker was in a mood to talk following the Boston Shamrocks contest against the Detroit Motors, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Motors, 10-0. "There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Baker said.
