The Las Vegas Aces knocked off the San Diego Roadrunners, 7-4, in Western Circuit action at Tony Gywnn Park. Las Vegas pitcher and Centreville, Michigan, native Troy Degenstein had an outstanding performance. Garrett Vogt picked up his 1st save of the season. San Diego, with the loss, is still a hardy 5-2.

It could have been a different outcome for Las Vegas, had it not been for Rich Perez, the 29-year old second baseman . Perez contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put Las Vegas up, 5-4.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Perez.
