Gothams Pick Up 9-5 Win Against Philadelphia
New York City designated hitter Javier Blanco helped his team beat the Philadelphia Keystones, 9-5. Blanco, who finished 2nd in the WC in doubles with 27 in 2024, went 4 for 5 for the Gothams. New York City pitcher Kyle Fox got the win, upping his record to 11-7. Cory Heaton got the loss. With the win, New York City pushed its record to 45-42.

Cristiano Sperafico had a big 2-run double for the Gothams in the top of the third inning. With New York City leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a changeup from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Cory Heaton and swatted a double to right. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Gothams ahead, 4-0.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Sperafico said after the game.
